Jax Taylor admitting to a cocaine addiction this week was quite a shock to the Bravo system. The Vanderpump Rules OG admitted he had a coke problem for nearly two decades and sought rehab for help, with more than 80 days sober under his belt. While more of this will undoubtedly unfold in the next season of The Valley, his former co-stars are reacting in real-time to the revelation.
Tom Sandoval and Jax have had a rocky history over the years, and that’s putting it kindly. They go from best friends to biggest enemies in a split second, mostly because they fight over who is the No. 1 Guy in the Group. Sandoval recently appeared on Watch What Happens Live and responded to the recent news about Jax’s cocaine addiction.

Andy Cohen asked Tom to react to Jax’s raw revelation about his coke problem and rehab journey. “I think that’s amazing. I’m so proud of him,” Sandoval said. “He really seems like he’s really been working on himself – for real.”
Then, Andy asked if Sandoval knew about Jax’s addiction struggles before it was revealed to the rest of the world. “Yes I was somewhat aware of his problems with addiction,” he said. “I’ve been around him over the years.” We can only imagine what Tom isn’t saying about his experience with Jax, but it’s nice he’s keeping it respectful. Sandoval also admitted that the Pump Rules cast was aware of Jax’s cocaine use over the years, so it wasn’t too surprising for them to hear the news.
