That's ultimately why he complained about Chock; Pascal was unwilling to get vulnerable with Joan in the same way.

He said he would only go on The Golden Bachelor if all the women were younger than him, scoffing at the idea of dating a woman in her 70s. Pascal also admitted he wasn't ready for an emotional commitment with Joan on The Golden Bachelorette, and there's no indication he would change his ways in the new season. Combined with the fact that he only wants to date younger women, Pascal would be a bad casting choice.
