It's very shocking that Zoe is accusing the Bachelor season 29 producers of silencing her during her date with Grant. The odds seemed to be stacked against her as she began her Fantasy Suite date without ever having had a one-on-one date with him. Zoe had had the least amount of time with Grant, and yet the producers chose a date during which they couldn't speak to each other. It makes one wonder what their motivation was for doing that to her.
Zoe had been portrayed as a villain in the second Bachelor season 29 episode when she stole Grant away for a long period of time during the basketball game group date. The other women later ganged up on her, with Alli Jo Hinkes being the most vocal. However, it was strange that they weren't angry with Grant for allowing Zoe to dominate his time. Other women, including Sarafiena Watkins, later made mean comments about Zoe, such as when she said that her dress was the shortest that she'd ever seen.
Zoe was very upset by all of this and even cried, but she continued to captivate Grant. However, she was constantly battling the other women, which was sometimes hard to watch. I agree with Zoe that she was silenced during the daytime portion of her Fantasy Suite date with Grant. However, the question is why. Although all three women were forced to participate in activities that made them uncomfortable, including Juliana's four-wheeler ride and Litia's ziplining adventure, they'd already found a certain level of comfort with Grant on their previous one-on-one dates. Zoe needed a date in which she and Grant could really get to know each other, and silent yoga wasn't it.
Zoe now has me curious if there's even more to the story about her producer interference claim. Because she was one of Grant's final three women, she was unable to appear in the "Women Tell All" episode, where she was a big topic of conversation, but she'll almost certainly be in the live "After the Final Rose" episode.
I can't wait to hear what Zoe has to say about her silent yoga date. I hope that she elaborates on why she felt silenced. Hopefully, Zoe will finally have the chance to speak her mind and have her voice heard about everything that happened to her during The Bachelor season 29.
