Southern Charm Alum Olivia Flowers Shares Details of Upcoming Wedding and ‘Sentimental’ Location

Olivia Flowers is ironing out the details of her upcoming wedding. The Southern Charm alum has been trying on a lot of dresses and working out a venue for the happy occasion. And she’s sharing her picks between two locations that hold a special place in her heart.

Olivia announced her engagement to Alex Williams in October 2024 after the couple vacationed at Manhattan’s JW Marriott Essex House. And it seems that the Bravolebrity and her fiancé are choosing to make their special day in November 2025.

Olivia Flowers Reveals November Wedding Date and Location

The former Bravolebrity told Page Six’s Virtual Reali-Tea podcast co-hosts, Evan Real and Danny Murphy, that she’s leaning towards a venue in her prior hometown of Westlake, Texas. For Olivia, the Dallas suburb felt like home.” She and Alex lived there at one point.

“We’re deciding between two venues. I’m pretty sure which one I’m leaning towards, and that’s the one that we’ve gotten a little further with food and stuff. It’s in Westlake. It’s where I used to live in Texas, so there’s sentimental value there,” Olivia shared.

She continued, “It’s a beautiful, beautiful space. And they don’t do weddings often. So this will be their first real, real big wedding event. So I’m excited.”

Charleston, South Carolina, was a major contender for the wedding location. Olivia lived in the area and filmed seasons of Southern Charm there while she was part of the cast. The couple also considered Napa, but decided not to ask their guests to travel so far.

“I looked strongly at Charleston because I was obviously there and it’s this huge, huge wedding capital. So we did look there for a while,” the bride-to-be explained. “We actually considered Napa … but it’s far for where our guests are coming from.”

Few Southern Charm stars will be invited

But Olivia and Alex decided on Westlake. And the venue they are eyeing “is really special” to them. All things considered, the former Southern Charm star was surprised that she agreed to marry in November.

“I actually always thought I wanted a spring wedding but I was in Dallas in November last year and it was so beautiful. It was in the 70s,” she explained. “And I was just like, ‘If we can carry this into next year, I’m solid on this.’”

The guest list will be tailored down to the closest friends of the couple. They envision a small, intimate wedding. Olivia said that out of her former co-stars, she will only be inviting Leva Bonaparte and Venita Aspen.

“Leva and [her husband] Lamar [Bonaparte], they’re close family friends and I would love to have them there,” Olivia shared. “I think we just want to keep it to the close-knit people … [and] Venita. That would be it.”
