Texans receive disappointing news on wide receiver’s injury

Stefon Diggs out with torn ACL after non-contact injury in Colts game

On the same day we witnessed Noah Brown catch a game-winning Hail Mary from Jayden Daniels, the Texans suffer a critical injury to a star on offense.

In the preseason, the wide receiver room was considered too deep and led to Brown being released at the 53 man cut down. Now, after injuries to Diggs and Nico Collins, suddenly the Texans find themselves light on pass catchers.

DeMeco Ryans had this to say about the somber news, “[It] hurts our team to hear that news. He's been such an important part to our team and everything that he brought, not only on the field, but off the field. The energy, the leader, the way he worked every single day. We have to pick up the slack. A lot of guys have to step up and pick up the slack. Definitely praying for him."

"Yeah man, [Diggs' injury] sucks. It's not easy," Stroud said. "You try to think positively but it's not a bunch of positive thoughts. And I just really feel bad for him."
