A former Green Bay Packers running back could find a new home with the Cleveland Browns, who are dealing with an off-the-field issue with rookie running back Quinshon Judkins.
The 21-year-old Judkins was arrested in Florida last Saturday over a domestic violence and battery charge. The former Ohio State Buckeyes star running back has already been released from jail on a $2,500 bond, but his future with the Browns — or in the NFL for that matter — appears to be in question following his arrest.
It is worth noting that Judkins has yet to sign a contract with the Browns, who took him in the second round of the 2025 NFL draft as the class’ 36th pick overall.

Jamaal Williams, who remains a free agent after getting released by the New Orleans Saints last March, is among the names floated by Jared Mueller of Dawgs by Nature as a potential addition to the Browns’ RB room as a “buffer.”
Jamaal Williams – At 27, Williams had a breakout year for the Detroit Lions in 2022 with over 1,000 yards rushing and 17 touchdowns. In the two seasons since, Williams has had just 470 rushing yards and two touchdowns with the New Orleans Saints. Just 30 years old, perhaps a new environment could see a resurgence.
Williams, who turned 30 years old in April, played four seasons with the Packers, during which he amassed 1985 rushing yards and 10 touchdowns on 500 total carries through 60 games (20 starts).
