Derrick Henry Doesn't Hesitate to Name NFL's Best Player at Ravens Training Camp

The Baltimore Ravens bowed out in the second round of the 2025 NFL Playoffs to the Buffalo Bills as Josh Allen and company won 27-25 in Buffalo.

The tough luck loss included an uncharacteristic dropped two-point conversion attempt by Mark Andrews that would have tied the game and given quarterback Lamar Jackson a chance to work his magic down the stretch.

Derrick Henry Doesn't Hesitate to Name NFL's Best Player at Ravens Training Camp

On Saturday, Ravens star running back Derrick Henry spoke with two NFL Network reporters during which he made a pick for NFL's Best Player that many Baltimore fans are likely to agree with in the coming days.

"What did you come away (with) last year, of being around Lamar for the whole season?" Henry was asked.

"Yeah, um, he's the best player in the league," Henry said without hesitation. "I know you use the word 'easy' it's kinda like watching a video game," Henry added.

Jackson completed 18-of-25 passes for 254 yards and one interception during the Bills game loss last season, a game in which Henry rushed for 84 yards and a touchdown on 16 carries and Jackson rushed for 39 yards on six carries.

The Ravens will kick off the 2025 NFL season on the road against Allen and the Bills September 7, a showcase game that could provide clues as to how far the Ravens' dynamic duo has come since last year's playoffs.
