Jax Taylor Has Podcast Tour Dates Canceled Following Problematic Behavior On Season 2 Of 'The Valley'

Jax Taylor gets candid about his future dating plans

Although Jax Taylor's unruly behavior on season 2 of "The Valley" was filmed over a year ago, the former "Vanderpump Rules" star is now facing the consequences of his actions.

After starting a podcast, "In The Mind Of A Man," Taylor told his followers he'd be taking the show on tour. The show was prepared to stop in different cities in Florida and Texas, as well as venues in Illinois, Michigan, Georgia, Arizona, and Washington, D.C.

However, according to a new report, Jax Taylor (who checked himself into rehab following a fight that almost turned physical with his soon-to-be ex-wife, Brittany Cartwright, in episode 2 of "The Valley") may have to find some new locations to record at after certain venues canceled his appearance due to his frightening behavior on camera.

According to The US Sun, Taylor was prepared to take his podcast, "In The Mind Of A Man," which has featured guests ranging from psychologists to reality stars, like his best friend, Tom Schwartz, on tour this summer. The first date was supposed to be a Tennessee show in April.

However, the live taping never happened because the bar decided they didn't want to be associated with Taylor, who admitted to throwing furniture toward his wife during an earlier episode of the Bravo series.

A staffer at the Blueprint Underground Cocktail Club in Nashville confirmed they canceled Taylor's date "at the last minute."

They went on to say that it was "the club's decision" to sever ties with Taylor. And they're not alone.

An employee at the Wanderlust Wine Company in Austin, Texas, also confirmed that they wouldn't continue working with Taylor because his behavior "does not align" with their values.

Taylor's appearance at the Tin Roof Orlando, which was scheduled for May 3, was also canceled.

Plus, his shows in Tampa, Florida, and Houston, Texas, scheduled for May 4th and May 7th, have been canceled, too.

Taylor's podcast taping at a Boston venue, set for May 6th, will continue as scheduled; however, a rep for the establishment assured The US Sun that they're taking the concerns about Taylor and his on-screen behavior "very seriously."

“The values of our venue do not align with any form of discrimination. We do believe in a stage for all voices," they said. “Our goal is to create an inclusive and welcoming environment for all our guests, and we regret any distress this has caused."

In addition to admitting he took things too far when he hurled furniture toward his partner and the mother of his son, Cruz, during the heat of an argument, Taylor also explained that he decided to check into rehab to address his addiction struggles.

In March, a month before season 2 premiered on Bravo, Taylor opened up about his decades-long addiction to cocaine with the network's fans on the "Hot Mic" podcast.

“I have substance issues—primarily with cocaine. It’s hard to say out loud," he said before explaining he's struggled with this battle "since I was 23 and now I'm 45."

The reality star continued: "There [were] times where I would stop doing it, but then there were times where I'd go heavy on it."

Although that episode was released in March, it's unclear when it was filmed. As of the present day, Taylor has said he's over 150 days sober.

On another episode of his personal podcast, Taylor told Schwartz that he almost didn't watch the new episodes of the current season. He explained that he had a phone call with the show's producers, who encouraged him to watch the footage, especially since the show was "shot a year ago."

He admitted that he was in a "different place" today than he was when they filmed in the summer of 2024.

Taylor Got Emotional Watching The Episodes

When he finally did watch the episode, Taylor said seeing himself in such a negative space made him quite emotional.

"I sat in the corner and I cried my eyes out. I was so disgusted about what I saw, about that shell of a human being that I was looking at, about how I acted," Taylor said. "It was just utter disgust. And, you know, I looked at it like, 'Wow. I'm glad I watched this because I never wanna be that person again.'"
