The Bachelor Season 29: I’m Struggling To Understand How Reality Steve’s Finale Spoiler Can Be Right After Grant Ellis’ Unhinged Fantasy Suite Dates Episode - SPOILERS

WARNING! THIS ARTICLE CONTAINS MAJOR SPOILERS ABOUT THE BACHELOR SEASON 29!According to Bachelor Nation blogger Reality Steve, The Bachelor season 29 ends with Grant Ellis getting engaged to Juliana Pasquarosa, and they're still together, but I'm struggling to understand how that spoiler can be right after Grant's unhinged Fantasy Suite dates episode, which left him completely torn about whether he wanted to choose Juliana or Litia Garr. Grant began his Bachelor journey with 25 women, but he narrowed them down to just three after saying goodbye to Dina Lupancu after her hometown date.

The Bachelor Season 29: I'm Struggling To Understand How Reality Steve's Finale Spoiler Can Be Right After Grant Ellis' Unhinged Fantasy Suite Date Episode - SPOILERS

For his Bachelor season 29 overnight Fantasy Suite dates, Grant chose Juliana, Litia, and Zoe McGrady. After three successful dates, he chose to send Zoe home, which I didn't think was surprising because he didn't have as strong of a connection with her. In fact, she hadn't even had a one-on-one date during the season. However, now that Grant has chosen Juliana and Litia for his Final 2 women, I don't understand how it's possible that he proposed to Juliana instead of Litia, and I wonder if he's still engaged.

Grant Only Told Litia 'I Love You'

Grant Told Juliana That He Was 'Falling In Love' With Her

In an Instagram post, Reality Steve revealed that Grant is engaged to Juliana, but I don't understand how that can be if he seems to be head-over-heels in love with Litia. He even made the distinction of telling Juliana that he was falling in love with her, but he actually said the words, "I love you," to Litia. I'm wondering what changed to give Juliana the edge over Litia when Grant has seemed to be leaning toward choosing Litia all season.

Grant Asked If He Should Choose Litia & End The Bachelor Early

How Can Grant Chose Juliana In The End?

At the end of Grant's Fantasy Suites episode, he was very upset because he said that he loved Litia, but he was also falling hard for Juliana. He didn't know what to do. I gasped when Grant asked if he should stop there and pick Litia, or if he should continue to pursue Juliana too. I hoped that he would end the show early and choose Litia because it would show that he was sure of his decision.

However, Grant decided to continue to explore his relationships with both Litia and Juliana. Still, I don't understand how he ended up proposing to Juliana, if he fell in love with Litia, and he even considered leaving with her before the season ended. I wonder if Reality Steve's spoiler is wrong like it was last season, when he insisted that Joey Graziadei had proposed to Daisy Kent up until the last weeks of the season, when Joey was actually engaged to Kelsey Anderson.

Grant Is So Torn Between Juliana & Litia

Grant Might Not Get Engaged At All

Grant is so torn between Juliana and Litia, that I feel that it's a sign that he doesn't really love either of the women enough to get engaged. I believe that he should be one hundred percent sure about his decision by now, and the fact that he's not, might mean that he didn't get engaged. Reality Steve might be right that Grant chose Juliana, but perhaps he didn't propose because he simply wasn't ready for such a huge commitment. Maybe they left in a relationship instead.

It's also possible that Reality Steve is wrong about Grant getting engaged at all, and maybe he left the show alone. I wouldn't like to see that because this was his biggest fear from the beginning of the season, but he has so much doubt that I wouldn't be surprised if he decided that he couldn't choose between the two women, and ended up picking no one. This would be very disappointing and sad, but I think it actually makes more sense than Reality Steve's spoiler that he's engaged to Juliana.

No matter what happens, I feel that Grant's Fantasy Suites episode was unhinged. Perhaps it was just the way that the producers edited it, but I can't believe that Grant could be so torn between Litia and Juliana, but later propose to one of them just a week later anyway. It seems as though he was forcing himself to make a decision that he wasn't ready to make.

Is Grant Still Engaged?

Juliana Might've Broken Up With Grant

Another possibility is that Reality Steve's spoiler was correct, but has since changed. I think it's possible that Grant might've proposed to Juliana, but, after she watched back the season and saw how unsure he was the whole time, she broke up with him. I noticed how uncomfortable Grant seemed at the end of the "Women Tell All" episode, when host Jesse Palmer showed a preview of the end of the season. It's possible that, in the months between when the finale was filmed and when the "Women Tell All" taped, that Grant and Juliana broke up.

If I were Juliana, I'd be devastated as I watched back The Bachelor season 29. I wouldn't want to be engaged to someone who was ready to end the season just days before to get engaged to another woman. I know that's what they signed up for, but it's rare for a Bachelor to be this conflicted so close to the engagement. I can't believe that the previews are making it seem as though Grant was torn up until the last moments before he proposed. I can't imagine that Juliana would be okay with that, and I believe that it's possible that she broke up with him because of it.

I also wouldn't be shocked if, because he was so torn, Grant ended up following in the footsteps of previous Bachelors and changed his mind and is now in a relationship with Litia. Jason Mesnick famously broke up with Melissa Rycroft after proposing to her and went back to his runner-up Molly Malaney, while Arie Luyendyk Jr. did the same thing with winner Becca Kufrin and runner-up Lauren Burnham. Both ended up marrying their second choice in the end. When someone is as confused as Grant is, anything is possible.

Although Reality Steve's spoilers are usually pretty reliable, I think that it's highly possible that his information about Grant's Bachelor ending might be wrong. I don't understand how Grant can be engaged to Juliana when he seems to have a much stronger connection with Litia. I also believe that, if Juliana did accept his proposal, that it's possible that, after seeing that he was in love with Litia, and he told her those three little words first, she broke off the engagement. I hope that none of these things are true, and that Grant and Juliana are happily engaged, but it's hard to believe based on Grant's chaotic Fantasy Suites episode.
