Denver Broncos attempt to get advantage over Raiders by using practice tactic that actually makes them look silly

Let's preface everything about this article by saying the Las Vegas Raiders are the worst team in the AFC West, and maybe the NFL, so, this is not me saying that they will beat the Denver Broncos on Sunday, or anything like that. But, you have to admit, what Denver did during practice on Thursday was pretty odd, to say the least.

Denver Broncos attempt to get advantage over Raiders by using practice tactic that actually makes them look silly

This is one of the best rivalries in sports. These two teams hate each other, no matter what the records are. They could be the two worst teams in the entire league, yet, they are still going to battle and beat up on one another when they play. So, you can imagine that they will do whatever it takes to get an advantage over the other team. Anything that's legal, that is.

The Broncos started to practice on Thursday with a bit of a different look to their practice field.

Instead of the giant horse, or any other logo they use, they painted the Raiders logo on the field.

Now, this is supposed to be some sort of psychology thing, or whatever. This is supposed to get into the heads of the Raiders or make the Broncos work harder, blah blah blah. You get the point. It's just like when teams put pictures of the offensive linemen on the other team on garbage cans.

Here is where it gets funny, though, and ultimately just makes the Broncos look silly, and frankly, dumb.

What does it mean when a logo is on a field? It means that's the home team's field. They are practically saying that their home is the Raiders, which is not a dig at all.

The Raiders own the all-time record between the two teams 73-55-2. According to The Football Database, the Raiders have won 33 games at Mile High Stadium to the Broncos 30 vs. the Raiders. So, maybe you could say the Raiders do own Denver?

Either way, this is a funny way the Broncos tried to dig at the Raiders but it backfired. After their game with the Broncos, the Raiders will take on the Kansas City Chiefs, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Atlanta Falcons, and a few other solid teams that are better than the Raiders.
