Buffalo Bills GM Brandon Beane Gets Feisty With Radio Hosts Over Bills ‘Lack Of Investment’ In Wide Receivers

Buffalo Bills general manager Brandon Beane got a bit testy with a radio show on the Monday morning following the NFL Draft. Beane took issue with criticism of the team not using a top pick to draft a wide receiver.bills gm brandon beane

Prior to Brandon Beane calling into The Jeremy and Joe Show on local Buffalo station WGR550, the radio hosts were discussing the Buffalo Bills’ apparent lack of investment in the wide receiver position “relative to their peers,” meaning the elite teams in the NFL.

Beane heard that criticism and came out firing, comparing it to the apparent reaction to the team drafting Josh Allen. NFL flameout Josh Rosen even caught a stray shot.

“Well, you guys were b——- in 2018 about Josh Allen, you guys wanted Josh Rosen, and now you guys are b——- that we don’t have a receiver… We just scored 30 points in a row for eight straight games,” Bean said.

“A year ago, I get you guys asking why we didn’t have receivers, but I don’t understand it now. You just saw us lead the league in points, when you add all the postseason, no one scored more points than the Buffalo Bills, including the Super Bowl champions,” he continued.
