The Chicago Bears are currently 1-1 as they roll into Week 3. It's been a mixed bag through two weeks but they need to find a way to get the offense going.
They are 31st in the league in total offense (176.5), 32nd in passing offense (99), and 28th in rushing offense (77.5). Despite these struggles, the defense has been balling. The Bears rank eighth in total defense (277) and 12th in pass defense (169.5).
This unit is ready to ball and safety Jaquan Brisker looked to bait Indianapolis quarterback Anthony Richardson ahead of the matchup.
When speaking to reporters on Friday, Brisker said that he wants Richardson to throw the ball in his direction.
"I want him to throw it deep this week. I mean if he can, please throw my way. I want a pick this week. Regardless if it's short or long, I want the opportunity."
- Jaquan Brisker
Through two games, Richardson has thrown four total interceptions, with three coming last week against the Green Bay Packers. Now the Penn State product wants to get into the fun and grab his first interception of the season.
Brisker is an athletic and fast-paced defender in the secondary. He can be an effective run defender but has the instincts to be solid in coverage. In two games, the 25-year-old has 17 total tackles with a 67.4 coverage grade per PFF.
In his career, Brisker has two interceptions and would love to add to the total on Sunday. We'll have to wait and see if he gets challenged through the air and gets the chance to come down with a takeaway.
