The Real Housewives of New Jersey has died a death this past season. It’s safe to say, if you’re in a toxic mood, the gossip, rumors and screaming matches are light entertainment. But, on the whole, a weekly instalment of grown women tearing each other down can get quite tiring. But, just when rumors of RHONJ being axed for good arise, there could be light at the end of the tunnel, in the form of reality TV star Drita Davanzo.
Any Bravo stars solely obsessed with The Real Housewives may be less au fait with Ms Drita. She rose to fame 13 years ago on Vh1 show Mob Wives. Now, if viewers thought The Real Housewives of New Jersey‘s scenes were wild, Mob Wives was giving dynamite levels of explosivity.

The Real Housewives of New Jersey is on pause
As tensions reach an all-time high on The Real Housewives of New Jersey, the show has been put on pause.
The show’s traditional reunion episode was scrapped this year because the cast dislike each other so much.
There’s talk of a cast revamp, with either some current members being axed and swapped out or a whole show rebrand along the lines of RHONY.
Personally, I’d hate for most of the RHONJ cast members to go anywhere, so a total rebrand is out of the question.
Teresa Giudice, Dolores Catania, and Margaret Josephs simply have to stay. And, the addition of Drita? Wouldn’t that solve everything?
Some social media users have taken to their platforms to call people “crazy” for wanting to see Drita on the show full-time (she made a cameo this season alongside Danielle Cabral), but hear me out.
Drita has a wealth of experience, dating back decades, on reality TV shows. She already knows the ropes. Plus, there’s literally not one thing that would phase her about the cast’s drama because she’s already been there and done it.
RHONJ needs Drita
A RHONJ revival won’t be a revival without the addition of something, or someone, super spicy to the cast.
With Drita’s Mob Wives past, and the fact she has a link to the RHONJ cast already, she looks like a perfect fit. She’s renowned for being reality TV gold, with some people going as far as to say “platinum,” not gold, on social media.
Drita is already friends with Danielle who has quickly become a fan favorite since joining the cast. Danielle she said herself she thinks her popularity has surged because she’s authentic.
Who is as authentic and themselves as it gets? Drita, obviously. So, how could she not be cast?
Perhaps the addition of Drita would add a new dynamic to the cast, making the rest of the ladies simmer down and stop unnecessary drama.
Lots of people are saying the addition of Drita would “get the show canceled” but if it’s already on its way out anyway, then what’s the harm in seeing how she’d do? Yes, Drita’s Mob Wives scenes saw montages of her wrapping her hands in the gym and saying how she could “hospitalize” people, but that was then, and this is now.
Plus, they are two totally different TV shows, and “fighting” isn’t her whole personality.
She has everything a Real Housewife requires for the show, including girlfriends, kids, a podcast, and a huge personality to shake things up.
Not only would Drita bring new energy to RHONJ for existing fans, but people who don’t even watch the show would be crazy not to watch the drama unfold if she was cast.
