Brooke Logan is a little lost these days. Ridge hasn’t proven easy to lure back into Brooke’s Bedroom this time around, leaving the Bold & Beautiful blonde at loose ends. Never one to stay unattached for long, we can confirm that one of her former flames will return to the canvas to answer her “call to the heart”.
According to Deadline, Jack Wagner, who currently stars in the Hallmark series Call to the Heart, and who is well known in daytime circles as General Hospital’s Frisco Jones, is set to reprise his role as Bold & Beautiful’s Nick Marone.
His reappearance will be just in the “Nick” of time for Brooke, who, by the time her ex-husband turns up in Los Angeles on June 13, will have been single and ready to mingle for six long months. It might even be a new record for Logan, who has been drawn into one romantic entanglement after another throughout her 38 epic years of love in the afternoon.
Setting the scene, Ridge pivoted (or flip-flopped, if you will) back to ex-wife, Taylor, after Brooke’s daughter, Hope, participated in a take over of his family’s company. When his lady love appeared to co-sign the coup by signing on as acting CEO, Ridge was unimpressed to the point that he did his best to turn off his feelings for “his Logan” and turned his attention to the mother of his older children, Thomas, Steffy, and the late Phoebe.
Even after Forrester Creations was returned to its rightful owners, Ridge refused to relent to Brooke’s pleadings for him to cut the nonsense and come home. He was even able to resist her considerable seductive charms as deployed in the main office of the family firm, perhaps in part because Taylor walked in on them.
Although Brooke will keep up with her campaign to win back her “Destiny”, this week parading around the boardroom in slinky lingerie, it appears as though she will be unsuccessful at breaking down the wall Ridge has constructed (and is co-habitating behind with Taylor). This, then, is where her former flame comes in.
Bold & Beautiful teases that Wagner started filming on April 10 for the storyline arc that will bring the unexpected arrival of Nick Marone back into Brooke’s life, and with it a rush of unresolved feelings and memories. As one might guess, their old flame will indeed reignite, giving the blonde beauty a fresh chance at love and happiness.
Nick was last seen on Bold & Beautiful during a dream sequence celebrating the soap’s 35th anniversary, but prior to that, sailed off on his boat, The Shady Marlin, presumably with his son Jack… who just happens to be Brooke’s biological child.
