The Green Bay Packers know that they’ll need to continue to adapt to get back to the Super Bowl. While they’ve made the playoffs in back-to-back years with Jordan Love under center, many fans agree that this team is a few pieces way from winning a Super Bowl.
That being said, many fans feel like the team went backward today.
“What a Joke” Packers Fans Turn On Matt LaFleur After Coaching Change (Report)

On Monday, Robin Adams covered the coaching change in Green Bay:
According to Tom Silverstein of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, LaFleur has retained Luke Getsy as a senior offensive Assistant.
“LaFleur rehired Getsy to be a senior offensive assistant, although his title could change if offensive coordinator Adam Stenavich leaves. Getsy served under LaFleur as quarterbacks coach in 2019 and quarterbacks coach/passing game coordinator in 2020-21.”
As Silverstein notes, Getsy previously worked for LaFleur as the quarterbacks coach in 2019 and as passing game coordinator from 2020-2021.
He left the Packers to become the offensive coordinator of the Chicago Bears, and then was named to that same position with the Las Vegas Raiders in 2024, but was fired before the season ended.
LaFleur had brought Getsy back on staff following his firing as a defensive analyst.
It is also noteworthy that Getsy could be named offensive coordinator in the event that Adam Stenavich leave

Fans weren’t happy to see Getsy come back:
