The Golden State Warriors enter the offseason with one key decision to make regarding one of their young players.
That player is Jonathan Kuminga, who is set to be a restricted free agent this summer.
With Kuminga falling out of Steve Kerr’s rotation at the end of the season, his future in Golden State is uncertain due to his decreased role.
Because of this, there has been a ton of speculation about the Warriors possibly moving on from him this offseason via a sign-and-trade deal to add assets to help upgrade their roster around their aging core of Stephen Curry, Jimmy Butler and Draymond Green.
So far, there have been many teams linked to Kuminga, including the Brooklyn Nets and Chicago Bulls, but another joined the picture on Sunday.
According to Ball Report on X, Kuminga has been linked to the Miami Heat and it would not be a surprise if he is open to going to Miami this offseason.

Of course, the Heat were unable to land Kevin Durant from the Phoenix Suns as he instead found his way to the Houston Rockets in a blockbuster trade on Sunday.
With Durant now out of the question for the Heat, they are now expected to show interest in Sacramento Kings star DeMar DeRozan as well as Kuminga as they are desperate to add another star to their roster and chase a title next season.
Kuminga would be a solid fit in Miami next to Tyler Herro and Bam Adebayo as he would be able to have an increased role on the offensive side, which is exactly what he needs due to his playstyle.
Despite this, the Heat may be unwilling to work on a sign-and-trade deal with the Warriors for him, especially with them not wanting to offer the Suns any of their young players or draft capital in trade talks for Durant.
Because of this, it is likely that another team like the Nets or Bulls could outbid the Heat for Kuminga as long as the young forward wants to move on from Golden State.
