The Minnesota Vikings are going to look a little different this coming season.
The biggest change, of course, is coming at quarterback, as veteran Kirk Cousins left in free agency and the team drafted J.J. McCarthy from the University of Michig
Minnesota also lost star pass rusher Danielle Hunter, while they added linebacker Jonathan Greenard and running back Aaron Jones.
In addition, N’Keal Harry is going to move from wide receiver to tight end, per JPAFootball.

Harry came to the Vikings last August as a free agent, and he has spent much of the last 10 months as a member of their practice squad.
He appeared in nine games in 2023, but he didn’t record a single reception.
His best season came in 2020 when, as a member of the New England Patriots, he had 33 catches for 309 yards and two touchdowns.
Minnesota has one of the NFL’s better tight ends in T.J. Hockenson, who registered 95 receptions, 960 yards, and five touchdowns last year, but they don’t have a lot of depth behind him.
They just gave a massive contract extension to star wide receiver Justin Jefferson, and fellow wideout Jordan Addison is coming off a very strong rookie campaign.
If McCarthy ends up being a legitimate franchise quarterback, the Vikings could end up surprising people this coming season, given the amount of offensive talent they boast.
However, it isn’t exactly a given he will be their starter, especially in Week 1, so it looks like they will have some things to sort out before they can plan on returning to the playoffs.
