Vikings Legend Cris Carter Issues 8-Word Message on Randy Moss Cancer News

"Randy Moss on Instagram Live says he is a cancer survivor. He just got home, was in the hospital for 6 days," Kaplan wrote. "Moss says it'll be a tough road with chemo and radiation, but "Your boy is back!" Thanking everyone for the prayers."

The news spawned strong reactions from across the pro football universe, including from Moss's former Minnesota Vikings teammate and fellow Hall of Fame wide receiver Cris Carter.

"Please join me in praying for [Randy Moss] @nfl @Vikings," Moss posted to his personal X account.

Carter and Moss were teammates during an impressive run of Vikings football around the turn of the century. They played together between 1998 (Moss's rookie year) and 2001.

The team made the playoffs in each of the first three seasons of the two greats' four-year run together, including two trips to the NFC Championship Game. Both Carter and Moss earned Pro-Bowl honors in each of the three years between 1998-2000.
