“Trade T.J. Watt”: Pittsburgh Steelers Fans Want To Trade T.J. Watt After Latest Playoff Loss Against the Baltimore Ravens

The Pittsburgh Steelers had their season end on Saturday night when they lost to the Baltimore Ravens by a final score of 28-14. With the loss, the Steelers ended the season with a 10-8 record.

At one point this season, Pittsburgh had a 10-3 record and an outside shot at the number-one seed in the AFC. One player who will have one year remaining on their contract is outside linebacker T.J. Watt.Ezoic

Many Pittsburgh fans went crazy during the 28-14 loss on Twitter against the Ravens. At one point, they trailed 21-0 at halftime. They were saying that they should get rid of Mike Tomlin as head coach and then they also mentioned that they should trade T.J. Watt this offseason.

Here is what Pittsburgh Steelers fans said about Watt after the loss against the Ravens:

#Steelers nuclear reset option:
1. Explore Tomlin trade. If nothing develops, fire him.
2. Take long look at GM position.
3. Hire Ben Johnson.
4. Trade TJ Watt.
5. Trade George Pickens.
6. Let Wilson walk, sign Fields to short deal.
7. Invest in WR, CB, other depth.

Thoughts?

Trade Cam Heyward, Alex Highsmith, and TJ Watt to contenders this off season. They deserve so much better than what this joke of a franchise can offer them. It’s laughable from the owner down to the players.

Trade TJ Watt to a team that can actually win a Super Bowl. Dude deserves better.

The Steelers should trade TJ Watt to a contender in the off-season because they are wasting his career

TJ Watt had a few bad games now y’all said to trade him? Kirk Cousins is better than Russell Wilson? Y’all thought the Steelers would “trade” Tomlin?….Steeler fans mock up the worst scenarios on my soul 😂

There are a lot of Pittsburgh fans who think that T.J. Watt would benefit from playing elsewhere next season. Two teams that would come to mind are the Green Bay Packers and the Detroit Lions.

This past season with the Pittsburgh Steelers, T.J. Watt recorded 61 tackles, 11.5 sacks, six forced fumbles, two fumble recoveries, four pass deflections, and zero interceptions. It would be interesting to see what Watt would fetch in a potential trade.

He is already 30 years old. However, T.J. Watt didn’t record a single tackle or sack in the final two games of the season for the Pittsburgh Steelers. Could that be a sign of a decline for the star defensive player? If it is and with one year remaining on his contract, it might be best for the Steelers to trade him and start all over also.
