A'Real Housewives of New Jersey' star has admitted Teresa Guidice (maiden name Gorga) could be forced to leave the popular television show and confessed it was a shame to see the 52-year-old depart after intense speculation.
She has been rumored to be leaving the Bravo production for years but has consistently dismissed the chatter, although her future now remains highly uncertain at the close of the most recent season.
Yet Frank Catania opened up on the secrets of her potential exit and whilst he didn't confirm, it doesn't read like it's good news for her fans as he can't quash the rumors of her exit ahead of Season 15, expected sometime in 2025.
"I've heard the same [speculation] about Teresa being asked to leave," Catania said to The Lisa Alastuey Podcast. "As opposed to being fired.
"But it's a shame because I see Teresa landing someplace. Teresa, across all the franchises, is probably the most recognizable 'Housewife' in the world."
Why could Teresa Guidice be set to leave The Real Housewives of New Jersey?
Giudice is one of the mainstays of the show and has starred ever since it premiered in 2009, even after she divorced Joe Guidice in 2020 as she was also brought back for the relaunch when Season 13 hit television sets in 2023.
But she has also been locked in a bitter rivalry with her sister-in-law and both refuse to spill the details. However, they will not film together and according to Catania this has essentially led to two separate shows emerging.
"I suspect that they are going to be dropping off some people and bringing additional new people in as well as keeping some people on," said Catania. "You can't continue the way we're doing it now.
"Because right now it is basically two separate shows. You got a reality show where half the cast can't - won't film together with the other half of the cast. How are you supposed to have a reality show?"
