The Golden Bachelor season 1's Theresa Nist has been single since divorcing Gerry Turner, but there are signs she may be ready to start dating again soon. This wasn't Theresa's first marriage, as the 70-year-old day trader was married to her first husband, William Nist, until he passed away in 2014. Theresa met 72-year-old Gerry on night one of TheBachelor spin-off, and the two hit it off immediately. Their bond strengthened throughout the season, and though Gerry told 65-year-old Leslie Fhima that she was "the one," he ultimately chose to give his final rose to Theresa.
Gerry and Theresa's whirlwind romance captured the attention of a fickle audience as they rode off into the sunset together, tying the knot in a star-studded Golden Bachelor wedding. Sadly, the good times didn't last, as the couple struggled to make their relationship work. After only three months of marriage, Gerry and Theresa announced their divorce, citing disagreements over living arrangements. Since the split, Theresa has been lying low, but there are signs that she may be starting to come back out of her shell.

Since her split from Gerry, Theresa has been keeping her head down and focusing on her family. The world had come to see Theresa as Gerry's wife, and The Golden Bachelor season 1 cast member was determined to rebrand herself as her own woman. Theresa recently posted an incredible photo of herself looking incredible on her 71st birthday. The post has 12K likes, and Theresa's caption reads, "Today is my birthday."
"I probably would not have mentioned it except for the fact that this is also the anniversary of the date that the show began filming last year."
Theresa went on to express gratitude for her time on the show, which proves she's over the divorce.

Theresa and William met when they were just teenagers, married when Theresa was only 19 years old and William was 20. They went on to have two children during their 42 years of marriage. In contrast, Theresa's second marriage to Gerry lasted only three months and ended with a whimper.
Like Theresa, Gerry was also a widower, who had been married to his late wife, Toni Turner, until she passed away in 2017 after 43 years of marriage.

Though Theresa seems to be dealing with her divorce from Gerry gracefully, it's hard to imagine she would put herself or her family through another Bachelor experience. That being said, she doesn't seem to harbor bad feelings towards Gerry, nor is there any indication to suggest she regrets being a part of the cast of The Golden Bachelor, so it's not out of the realm of possibilities. Whether or not Theresa ever appears on another Bachelor show, she will always be a part of Bachelor Nation.
