The Golden Bachelor: Leslie Fhima & Jordan Heller's Relationship Won't Last If They Decide To Date (Are They A Good Match?)

The Golden Bachelor's Leslie Fhima and The Golden Bachelorette's Jordan Heller set tongues wagging when they posted a photo together recently. Though the two are only friends, 65-year-old Leslie has definitely expressed interest in getting to know 61-year-old Jordan Heller. If they do decide to date, they're unlikely to last, as they wouldn't be a good match for multiple reasons. Leslie, a twice divorced mother of two, made her television debut during The Golden Bachelor season 1. She was one of 22 single Golden women who dated 72-year-old Gerry Turner.

Gerry was smitten with the soft-spoken dance instructor, and he even told her that she was "the one", but he turned around and gave his final rose to 70-year-old Theresa Nist. Like Leslie, Jordan was also rejected by a Bachelor lead. He was one of the 24 single Golden men who dated 61-year-old Joan Vassos during The Golden Bachelorette season 1. Jordan made it to Joan's final four before she sent him home. Since then, Jordan has been photographed hanging out with Leslie. Though the two look great together, they wouldn't be a good match, and should just stay friends.

Jordan Might Not Be Over His Split With Joan

He Wouldn't Let His Walls Down

Jordan played it cool during The Golden Bachelorette season 1. Though he liked Joan, he never showed his cards, keeping his feelings close to the vest. During their hometown date, Joan met Jordan's family and friends in Chicago, Illinois, and really seemed to fit in with them. During an on-camera interview, Joan talked about the fact that she needed Jordan to let down his walls a little more. Though she liked him, he wasn't letting himself be vulnerable with her, so she sent him home. It's hard to know how he feels, but it's possible he's not over it.

Sadly, Jordan was probably playing it cool because he liked Joan so much that he was terrified of getting hurt. Joan misread his tough exterior, because it was really a defense mechanism. It's ironic because Jordan was so worried about Joan sending him home, that he protected his heart too much, which caused Joan to send him home. Leslie seems like the kind of woman who wouldn't put up with a man who protects his heart too much, so a relationship with Jordan would be doomed from the start.

Leslie Likes Jordan

His Interest Level Is Unclear

Despite the differences in their relationship styles, Leslie has publicly expressed interest in dating Jordan. It all started when Leslie and Jordan were photographed together and posted the photos to their respective Instagram Stories. Bachelor Nation fans immediately jumped on the photo, and assumptions were made about the nature of their relationship. Then Leslie went on the Almost Famous podcast, where she was asked about the photograph and their relationship status. Leslie revealed she and Jordan weren't in a relationship.

"No, I'm not dating Jordan."

Leslie went on to confess that she'd be interested in dating Jordan. She went so far as to say that if she was The Golden Bachelorette instead of Joan, she would have picked Jordan. "I liked Jordan when I was watching the show," Joan told the podcast. "I liked him the best for me." She made it clear she thought they'd be a good match, and that she'd be down if he was interested. She said that she and Jordan had been texting since meeting, so it's possible that they're testing the waters.

Too Close For Comfort

One of the great things about The Golden Bachelor season 1 is that many of the Golden women who competed for Gerry's roses are still friends. The downside of that is that being a girl's girl means not dating your girlfriends' exes. Jordan may be a great catch, but Leslie may want to think twice before dating Joan's ex-boyfriend. Joan even traveled to Jordan's hometown, and met his family, so the relationship was quite serious.
