The Bachelorette Season 21 Villain Lashes Out At Devin Strader After Witnessing "Brutal" Treatment Of Jenn Tran

The Bachelorette season 21 villain Sam McKinney is lashing out at his nemesis Devin Strader after it was revealed during the "After the Final Rose" episode that Devin broke off his and Jenn Tran's engagement over the phone. Sam and Jenn had a very strong physical connection during The Bachelorette season 21, which began when she gave him her first impression rose and first kiss of the season. However, their relationship deteriorated when he made several missteps, including when he was unable to express to her why he loved her.

The Bachelorette Season 21 Villain Lashes Out At Devin Strader After Witnessing "Brutal" Treatment Of Jenn Tran

"The good guys always win ... That might not be me, but it's sure as hell not you either."

In an Instagram post, Sam revealed that he watched The Bachelorette season 21 finale, saying, "That was brutal."

Sam stated that, although he and Jenn had their differences, he once "cared very, very deeply about her," and he "hated" watching her go through the announcement of the breakup on the show. He wished her the very best. Sam then addressed Devin, referring to one of Devin's Instagram captions which said, "The good guys always win." He said, "That might not be me, but it's sure as hell not you either."

Sam McKinney & Thomas Nguyen Praise Each Other After Devin Drama

Sam & Thomas Both Had Major Conflicts With Devin

Sam and Thomas Nguyen both had major confrontations with Devin throughout the season, which painted them as the villains. Sam didn't get along with Devin at all, while Thomas was outraged when Devin stole Jenn away first during one of the cocktail parties. In the comments section of Sam's post, Thomas wrote, "Proud of you bro." Sam responded, "Proud of us man. S*** was never easy dealing with all of this. Glad we stood on what we knew."

During the show, Sam and his family frequently posted on social media that only one side of the story was being told, and that Sam was getting a bad edit. Jenn even called him out about it during the "Men Tell All" episode. Although Devin's actions against Jenn that were revealed in the season finale don't excuse Sam's bad behavior, they do make one wonder if there was more to the story when it came to his conflict with Devin. However, Sam did use violent language when talking about Devin, saying that he'd snap him in half, and he'd step on his neck.

While Devin deeply hurt Jenn, Sam did as well. He didn't listen to her feelings when he forced her to jump from the Auckland Sky Tower, and he couldn't explain to her why he loved her. Sam also told her that he thought that Daisy Kent or Maria Georgas was going to be the Bachelorette. Like Sam said, Devin turning out to be a villain doesn't make Sam a good guy. However, it's definitely possible that Devin was one of the Bachelorette season 21 bad guys all along, but he got a good edit because of the engagement.
