The Bachelor season 29 contestant Carolina Sofia has unleashed her "opinion" about Juliana Pasquarosa after Juliana and Grant announced the end of their engagement on June 13, 2025.
In a TikTok video, Carolina responded to a fan who said, "I need to know your opinion asap," presumably asking about Juliana and Grant's engagement ending. Carolina then unleashed a slew of opinions about Juliana, which referenced many different parts of their confrontations. Although she never mentioned Juliana by name, it was clear that she was talking about her from her descriptions.
Carolina began by saying, "My opinion? I mean, how much time we got? My opinion is anyone claiming to be ready for an engagement with the Bachelor before actually going on a one-on-one with that person is probably trying to 'win' The Bachelor more than connect with the actual human. The one that's right for them."
Carolina then went on to mention how Juliana faulted her for being concerned about the fast timeline of The Bachelor. She said, "My opinion is that anyone that goes out of their way to s*** on someone who's simply saying that they're nervous about the Bachelor potentially meeting their family and how quickly everything is moving--because there is an engagement at the end of this--um, is probably not a very nice person. My opinion is that then lying and saying that that person had nothing good to say about that date is even worse."
Carolina also implied that the Bachelor producers had given Juliana a good edit because Grant chose her in the end, but she was really the villain. She said, "My opinion is if she hadn't been the 'winner,' everyone would've seen a very different side to all of this. But, of course, the happy couple has to look good."
Carolina added that Juliana never told her that she was sorry for what happened during The Bachelor, even though some of the other women did. She said, "My opinion is that, while many others apologized for their actions, she never did. That part's a fact, actually."
Carolina then revealed that she didn't think that Juliana and Grant's engagement would last, but she thought that she was wrong because of how Juliana behaved during the Bachelor season 29 finale. She said, "My opinion was that they would never last. But then I doubted myself at that finale 'cause it kinda seemed like he could run her over with a car, and she would stay, so ... But, unfortunately, I am always right. But an applause for the performance."
Carolina continued, "My opinion is that they were so wrong for trying to make me the villain in the story, but I'm happy to step into that role now, if that's what saying all this means. 'Cause, in my opinion, they were awful to me."
Carolina's TikTok video in which she expressed her opinions about Juliana means that she's still angry and upset about what happened during The Bachelor season 29. It's interesting to think that, if Carolina had won instead of Juliana, perhaps the tables would've been turned, and Carolina would've been depicted as the hero and Juliana would've been portrayed as the villain. There were moments when Juliana seemed out of line, but the show never seemed to portray her as doing anything truly wrong, so viewers might've been manipulated by the edits.
I thought that Carolina was right to have doubts about getting engaged so quickly. After all, so few Bachelor relationships have been successful. She also turned out to be right about Grant and Juliana not lasting too, but I don't think that she should gloat about it. I hope that Carolina can find a way to speak her truth without attacking Juliana or anyone else, because I believe that she's a good person at heart who feels misunderstood and needs validation after her portrayal during The Bachelor season 29.
