Madison LeCroy Reveals How Her Son Is Adjusting to Being a Big Brother to Baby Teddi

The Southern Charm cast member is giving a new look at life as a mom of two.

Madison LeCroy's son, Hudson, and newborn daughter, Teddi, have her "whole heart." The Southern Charm cast member welcomed her daughter into the world with her husband, Brett Randle, on June 29, and is now so happy as a mom of two.

Madison took to her Instagram Story after announcing that she had given birth on July 3, giving small glimpses into her life as a family of four. But she's most importantly shown how her 12-year-old son has brought so much joy into her life after her labor and delivery in late June.

Madison took to her Instagram Story, where she revealed that Teddi was still in the NICU after unexpectedly arriving six weeks early. But, Hudson was able to bring his mom some company, as they sat together in the hospital, and he held her hand through it all. "Little boys: the ultimate mood lifter," she wrote over the snapshot.

She also posted a video of Hudson visiting Teddi in the NICU for the very first time. "Oh my gosh," he said in the video, as he looked at her and smiled. "Look at that chunky neck."

"This video has my whole heart," Madison wrote in the caption. "Big brother + baby sister meeting for the first time."

While Madison and Brett watched over Teddi in the NICU, Hudson got in some solo time with Madison's family. Madison posted a video of Hudson riding an ATV over a farm, looking like he was having the time of his life.

"Meanwhile, Hudson went to Peach's for the week livin' the country dream and gettin' spoiled rotten like a little king," she noted.

How Madison LeCroy's son, Hudson, prepared for having a little sister

But Hudson had many months to prepare for this moment of being a big brother. In February, Madison took to her Instagram Story, where she revealed that he was helping her put a stroller together, as they read the directions together. "Hudson and I putting our workout stroller together," she wrote over the post.

In February, Madison told Parents that Hudson was doing just that and so much more to help her out. "He's already stepped into the big brother role, talking about what he's going to teach the baby and how he's going to help. It really does melt my heart," she explained. "The other day I got a stroller, one of many, and he helped me put it together."

But, Hudson was a little apprehensive at first about becoming a big brother. "At first, he didn't [want a younger sibling]," Madison said during an episode of the Southern Charm After Show, as seen in the video above.

"And then I got a dog, and then he was like, 'Actually, this is kinda cool,'" she said of their family dog, Karen. "And then he's like, 'OK, I can do this.' And then he goes, 'By the time this kid would turn 10, I'll be in college.' I was like, 'Exactly! Basically I'm gonna end up having like, only children, separately."

Madison told People in February that Hudson was the first person she told that she was expecting. "And yeah, he was excited," she explained.

"Obviously, at first he's like, 'Eh.' And then we recently got a puppy, so he goes, 'Actually, I really love caring, so I might as well,'" she continued. "I was like, 'OK, this is going to be way different, but OK.'"
