Juliana and Litia couldn’t be more different. Juliana was fun-loving and open about her insecurities, while Litia was unwavering in her support of Grant and her confidence in their future together. Grant seemingly found his answer after his father advised him to follow his heart. Although Litia offered everything Grant envisioned in a wife, he left her stunned when he told her, “I’m not your person.” As Grant and Juliana celebrated their engagement, Litia’s disappointment gave way to criticism about how Grant had handled their relationship.
Litia’s Entire Demeanor Changed After Grant Broke Up With Her
Was Her Sweet Personality All An Act?
Litia entered the final rose ceremony full of hope, and it was heartbreaking to see her dreams shattered. But I was struck by the abrupt change in her disposition during her conversation with Grant. Litia’s tone shifted, and her cynical facial expressions indicated she questioned everything Grant was telling her. As Grant tried to let her down easily, Litia looked at him side-eyed and told him he wasn’t the person she thought he was.

Litia Accused Grant Of Leading Her On
She Disrespected The Process By Expecting An Engagement To Be Guaranteed
During the After The Final Rose special, Litia explained why she was so disappointed by Grant’s decision. She claimed he led her on all season, assuring her she was the one for him. The day before the Final Rose Ceremony, Grant and Litia allegedly discussed their excitement about their pending engagement. Litia was blindsided by his engagement to Juliana, stating, “I felt like I got the rug pulled out from under me.”
Grant was a flawed lead, and he never should have let Litia get her hopes so high. But Litia’s claims against Grant seem at odds with the premise of The Bachelor. She had to have known he was exploring his feelings for other women at the same time, and Litia never should have expected an engagement to be a guarantee. By putting the blame for her hurt feelings entirely on Grant, she’s not being fair to him or the process of the show.
Litia Seemed Preoccupied By Her Dream Of Starting A Family
I Think The Pressure Contributed To Grant’s Indecision
I suspect Litia’s anger towards Grant runs deeper than the love she felt for him. Litia, as a Mormon, held firmly to her belief that her calling was to be a mother. Losing out on Grant meant she also lost the opportunity to start a family with him. Although the two were clearly in love, I believe Litia’s main goal was finding a father for her children, and it clouded her ability to recognize the uncertainty of their relationship.
