Soap operas and catfights go hand in hand and while there have been a few we won’t forget over the years, a recent one on The Bold and the Beautiful added food into the mix, which made it all the more hysterical to watch. It was back in April of this year when Poppy and Sheila faced off at Il Giardino. After a bit of back and forth taunting, Poppy hauled off and slapped Sheila, which resulted in the latter lashing out back. After Poppy waved some breadsticks in Sheila’s face, Deacon’s wife grabbed a handful of cake and practically shoved it down Poppy’s throat.

So, do you ever wonder what goes on behind the scenes to bring these fights to life? Romy Park recently posted three videos with the CBS soap’s stunt coordinator Mickey Cassidy, who could be heard warning, “You’re going to have to take two showers today,” and Kimberlin Brown and shared, “Working with Kimberlin is pure joy. Her professionalism shines through in every detail. She checked in with me constantly, making sure I was OK.”

The actress then explained how Kimberlin avoided her nose when she had to come at her again, since she had realized that all the cake had gone straight into her mouth and didn’t want to hinder her breathing. “She is a shining example of how actors should look after their scene partners,” Park continued. “I couldn’t deliver my lines with all the cake in my mouth so I had to spit it out — twice! That definitely wasn’t planned.” And as a bonus, she added, “P.S., the tiramisu was divine.”

Given Brown has played the villainous character since 1990, between her time on The Young and the Restless and its sister soap, Sheila has had plenty of fighting practice — with plenty enemies — see for yourself.
