Texans Star Sends Strong Message To Coaching Staff After Blowout Loss

The Houston Texans suffered their worst loss of the season in a blowout on Christmas Day.

The Baltimore Ravens dominated the Texans, outgaining Houston 432-211 in total yards en route to a 31-2 victory in front of a crowd of 71,544 at NRG Stadium.

The Texans (9-7) have now lost two games in a row, as they were defeated 27-19 by the Kansas City Chiefs on Saturday. Houston has already clinched the AFC South championship, but players on the roster are worried about the playoffs.

Per DJ Bien-Aime with ESPN, star pass rusher Danielle Hunter called on the coaching staff to come up with better game plans.

"The biggest thing we can do is just game plan better," Hunter said.

Hunter recorded two total tackles on Wednesday.

Houston head coach DeMeco Ryans and his staff have struggled to get the Texans prepared against playoff-caliber competition.

The Texans have just three wins this season over opponents that were mathematically eliminated from the playoffs before the start of Week 17. (Two wins over the Indianapolis Colts and one against the Buffalo Bills.)

Houston has one more regular season game left to gain some momentum before the postseason. The Texans will travel to play the Tennessee Titans at Nissan Stadium in Nashville in Week 18.
