Season 14 of The Real Housewives of New Jersey took fans on an emotional rollercoaster—but not in the way many had hoped. Longtime viewers witnessed the unraveling of relationships that had anchored the show for years, leaving the future of the franchise in question. The feud between Teresa Giudice and Melissa Gorga, which reached a boiling point last season, showed no signs of cooling. By the explosive season finale, tensions among the cast were so intense that Bravo scrapped plans for the usual reunion special. Now, with the show on pause, rumors swirl about how Andy Cohen might salvage what’s left of RHONJ.
In a recent episode of Teresa’s podcast, Turning the Tables, guest Kim DePaola joined the conversation—though not to discuss politics, as Teresa joked. Instead, Teresa candidly shared her stance on working with her estranged sister-in-law.
“Even if I get offered a job with her, I’m not doing it,” Teresa said. She revealed that she was offered a role in a Deadpool commercial alongside Melissa, but she turned it down. “It was good money, but I said no. That ship has sailed. So if anyone out there thinks we’ll do a project together—forget it,” she added.
Interestingly, Heather Dubrow and Shannon Beador from The Real Housewives of Orange County ended up filming the commercial instead, and Teresa seemed unbothered by it.
During the podcast, Teresa also made it clear that there’s no reconciliation in sight between her and her brother, Joe Gorga, or his wife, Melissa. “We’re done. It’s over,” she said bluntly. “He made his choices, now he can live with them. I never imagined fame and money would come between us, but it did—and it wasn’t on me.”
Teresa also addressed accusations that she and co-star Jennifer Aydin fed stories to gossip bloggers. “Everyone talks to bloggers,” she said. “They’re fans, after all. But I’ve never told anyone to post anything negative about my castmates.”
With relationships fractured beyond repair, Andy Cohen has acknowledged that this cast cannot continue as it is. Bravo is reportedly weighing its options, leaving fans wondering whether they’ll see a full reboot or a partial shake-up. For now, RHONJ remains on hold, and viewers are left anxiously waiting to see if the franchise can rise from the ashes.
