The Tennessee Titans have to rebuild their roster this offseason after a 2024 campaign in which they only won three games. New general manager Mike Borgonzi has his hands full in doing so, but the organization has ample cap space and the No. 1 pick in the draft at their disposal to help turn things around.
Star edge rusher Harold Landry was granted permission by the Titans to seek a trade this offseason, which would help the team save money and acquire draft capital. Ben Solak of ESPN wrote on Friday that the Baltimore Ravens would be an ideal trade partner for the Titans and that they should give up a fourth-round pick in return for Landry.
Landry has played the last seven seasons in Tennessee after being drafted by the franchise in 2017. He has 50.5 career sacks and played in all 17 games last season for the Titans, recording 9.0 sacks and 15 tackles for loss.
Baltimore narrowly lost to the Buffalo Bills in the playoffs this season after being a Super Bowl contender all year. The Ravens need help rushing the passer and have several players whose contracts are running out, so Landry could make sense for the AFC North team.
Solak understands that while Landry is not a big-name edge rusher, he can be very effective in a pass-rush rotation with the Ravens' stellar defense. If Baltimore is willing to give up a draft pick in the middle rounds for Landry, the Titans should make it happen.
