Shocking Allegation: NFL Star Claims He Was Ruthlessly Scammed Out of $240,000 in Brutal Financial Betrayal

In an era where internet scamming and identity theft crimes are at an all-time high, Vikings linebacker Dallas Turner also fell victim to a scheme that robbed him of nearly a quarter of a million dollars earlier this year.
Per the Star Tribune, Turner reportedly wired $240,000 to grifters who posed as representatives of his bank.
With court records showing the former first-round pick received a call back in February "from an individual impersonating a JPMorgan Chase banker. The caller claimed someone was attempting to impersonate [Turner] at a Chase Bank branch in Arizona."
Twin Cities police are said to have identified several suspects connected to the matter and are in the process of filing charges. However, only 1% of Turner's money has been recovered as of Wednesday.
The caller reportedly convinced the ex-Alabama star that in order to prevent someone from fraudulently withdrawing money from his personal bank, he should transfer his money to two separate business accounts.
That led to Turner going to two different Chase branches and transferring $120,000 each to business accounts that didn't really exist.
Authorities are also looking into whether or not any JPMorgan Chase employees could've been involved in the scam.
Turner was drafted with the 17th overall pick by the Vikings in last year's NFL draft, after which he signed a four-year, $15.77 million contract that was fully guaranteed.
In 16 games with the Vikes, the 22-year-old Florida native recorded 20 tackles, three sacks, five QB hits and an interception.
