Shedeur Sanders’ Mysterious 1-Word Reaction to Draft Plea from Titans Fans

Just two weeks ago, it seemed like a foregone conclusion that Colorado quarterback Shedeur Sanders was going first overall to the New York Giants in the 2025 NFL draft.

But fast forward to Sunday, and the Tennessee Titans now hold the No. 1 pick while the Giants fell to No. 3 overall, and the Las Vegas Raiders - the other team Sanders has been linked to - will likely draft in the 7-10 range.

While it's still possible Sanders lands in New York - the Titans could opt to take Miami QB Cam Ward No. 1 overall and the Browns may not take a quarterback No. 2 overall after restructuring Deshaun Watson's contract - his dad, Colorado head coach Deion Sanders, could also throw a wrench in team's plans as he's voiced several times he will step in and help dictate which team drafts his son.

Deion may make good on that promise if the Titans do take Shedeur No. 1 overall, which is exactly what some of the team's fans hope happens. During the broadcast of Sunday's game against the Texans, a few Titans fans were spotted with bags over their heads with Shedeur's photo taped over it, seemingly indicating he's who they want the team to draft next April.

Those fans went viral in a matter of moments, and the "SportsCenter" Instagram account even posted about it. Shedeur saw the post and responded with a mysterious one-word reply.

"Legendary," Shedeur wrote.

It's not known how Shedeur feels about potentially going to the Titans because he's been so vocal about wanting to play for either the Giants or Raiders. He even wore Giants cleats in Colorado's Alamo Bowl game against BYU last weekend.

Some believe Shedeur doesn't really care which team takes him as long as he goes No. 1 overall. However, the Titans are the kind of dysfunctional franchise with a history of losing that Deion has previously alluded to not wanting Shedeur to play for.

So if Tennessee intends to take him with the top pick, the front office may have to have some serious conversations with and do some serious convincing of Deion first.
