RHOC's Shannon Storms Beador explained in an exclusive BravoTV.com interview that she wants to be "honest and truthful" about everything that happened.
Shannon Storms Beador hasn't shied away from discussing her DUI during Season 18 of The Real Housewives of Orange County, and after a particularly candid moment on Episode 9 — during which she shared a photo that she allegedly took the night she was arrested — Shannon is now shedding new light on her decision to reveal the picture and generally be so open about what happened.
While reflecting on the aforementioned moment that she experienced with Heather Dubrow during an exclusive interview at Bravo headquarters in July, Shannon said, "I was shaking when I pushed that button to show her the picture because I knew that at the moment, being that that photo was being filmed, it was gonna forever change if anyone Googles my name, that photo's gonna come up."
"But at the same time," Shannon added, "I want to be honest and truthful."
And in doing so, she's "not looking for sympathy," Shannon clarified. "I take responsibility for the very stupid choice that I made that night."
Then, she hesitated to continue because in doing so she'd be breaking the "fourth wall."
"But, I do talk about this in my interview confessionals," Shannon explained, allowing herself to keep going. "I made a commitment right after my DUI, I posted on my Instagram a video saying when I can, I'm going to share and be open and honest about everything that happened with the DUI."
"And so that was me doing it," she said of revealing the photo to Heather.
