Report: Vanderpump Rules Spinoff Filming With New Cast

Lisa Vanderpump, who could be working on a Vanderpump Rules spinoff

Bravo is working behind the scenes to figure out a path forward for its Vanderpump Rules series. As it stands now, many of the current stars are no longer tight. In addition, most have outgrown their former series, as none of these hotheads still work behind any of Lisa Vanderpump’s bars. Unless, of course, they own a 5% stake. Cue reports of a new batch of Survers, currently filming a VPR-styled spinoff at SUR in Los Angeles.

Reports of a new cast filming at SUR are sounding, paving the way for a Vanderpump Rules spinoff

TMZ always grabs the tea on all things Pump Rules. From randomly finding its current stars crossing deserted streets (or casually sitting in front of nail salons) for impromptu interviews to getting the dirt on what storylines might lie ahead, they stay on it. Not shockingly, they also broke the spinoff news.

Unnamed sources in the know have spoken to TMZ. In these gossipy tell-alls, they revealed that production crews have been filming a possible new show at SUR, LVP’s West Hollywood hot spot. These crews and their cameras have been filming at SUR for a couple of weeks, making me question how this has not already leaked out into the wild. But even still, we know now, and this is all that matters.

These same sources state that this pilot will feature all new faces, and all of these hires are current employees at SUR. They either work as bartenders, servers, or hosts, giving us Season 1 VPR vibes. Since the OG cast all started filming in this same manner, go ahead and consider me intrigued.

This pilot will not feature any of the current stars. It has also not been picked up yet. Therefore, if you are excited, settle down, but keep your eyes on this space. We will update you with any new information as it rolls in.

Also, if you love the current cast, do not fret. This new series is more of a spinoff, not a reboot. And of course, TMZ also reported that Beyoncé would close out the DNC 2024 … and look how that turned out.

Vanderpump Rules is streaming on Peacock.
