The Chicago Bears take on the Jacksonville Jaguars in London in Week 6 before they go on their bye week. With a chance to go 4-2 and make their case for chasing the top spot in the NFC North all season, the Bears can't afford to drop a game to the 1-4 Jags.
Unfortunately, however, the Bears will be without a few key rotation pieces. Starting safety Jaquan Brisker has already been ruled out and Elijah Hicks will get the start in his place. Cornerback Terell Smith was ruled out earlier in the week and Tyrique Stevenson has a doubtful designation.
With the injuries to the defensive backfield, the Bears called up two defenders from the practice squad. Tarvarius Moore will provide depth at safety while Ameer Speed will back up Jaylon Johnson and Jaylon Jones.

Moore was an offseason signing of the Bears who was released and re-signed to the practice squad before the season. He made his Bears debut against the Rams two weeks ago, playing in 11 special teams snaps.
Speed, on the other hand, was signed to the Bears practice squad on September 25 and will look to see his first snaps as a Chicago Bear. The 23-year-old cornerback was selected in the sixth round of the 2023 NFL Draft and appeared in 13 games as a rookie for the Patriots and the Colts. It will be a great opportunity for the former Georgia and Michigan State standout to establish his NFL career if given the chance.
