Rams Predicted to Sign Ex-Raiders $140 Million Star

Former All-Pro wide receiver Davante Adams will be looking for a new team this offseason following his release from the New York Jets. This will end up being his fourth team in five seasons and he hasn't gotten any closer to winning a Super Bowl in recent years.

He apparently wants to return to the West Coast but a return to the Las Vegas Raiders is unlikely. He also wants to go to a team that can compete for a Super Bowl. There may be one team with a need at wide receiver that will check a lot of his boxes.

NFL insider details how Davante Adams 'blindsided' Las Vegas Raiders by quitting on team after Week 4

Mike Jones of The Athletic is predicting that Adams will end up signing with the Los Angeles Rams.

"With the Rams working to trade Cooper Kupp, Sean McVay and Matthew Stafford will need another target to pair with Puka Nacua," Jones wrote. "Adams is now available after the Jets released him on Tuesday. The six-time Pro Bowl wideout still has plenty left in the tank, and McVay boasts the creativity needed to maximize Adams' skill set."

The Rams were a touchdown away from beating the eventual Super Bowl champion Philadelphia Eagles in the playoffs. Now that they've been able to resolve Matthew Stafford's contract dispute, the Rams should be one of the favorites to win the NFC in 2025. Adding a player like Adams would only bolster their offense.
