Raiders Quarterback Aidan O'Connell Misses Practice Ahead of Week 15 Game

They say time heals all wounds, but both the Las Vegas Raiders and Atlanta Falcons may need a little more time to recover before Sunday's inter-conference matchup.

With only four weeks remaining in the regular season, both sides have a combined 16 names on the Week 15 injury report.

Upon closer inspection, the Raiders listed DE Maxx Crosby (ankle), DT Adam Butler (concussion), and CB Sam Webb (back) as non-participants in Thursday's practice. Most notably, QB Aidan O'Connell missed practice due to a knee injury sustained in last weekend's loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Meanwhile, WR Jakobi Meyers (ankle), TE Justin Shorter (back), and CB Nate Hobbs (ankle) were limited but are trending toward playing this Sunday.

On the Atlanta side of things, S Jesse Bates III (Shoulder) was a full participant of practice while other contributors such as OLB Matthew Judon (Rest) and WR Darnell Mooney (Foot) practiced in limited fashion.

The Raiders and Falcons last met on the field during the COVID-19 season of 2020, when the 'Dirty Birds' dominated the Silver and Black 43-6 on November 29th. Four years later, both rosters have changed significantly, and each team enters this weekend’s matchup desperate for a win. The Raiders are on a nine-game losing streak, while the Falcons have dropped four straight, with their AFC South title hopes fading.
