The Las Vegas Raiders are coming off a very disappointing 2024 season. They finished last place in the AFC West with a 4-13 record, marking their third straight losing season.
Their offense was extremely inefficient, tied for 28th in points per game (18.2), which was paired with an even worse rushing attack, ranking 32nd in rushing yards per game (79.8).
However, according to Spotrac, they enter the offseason with $92.6 million in cap space, which means they can make some significant additions.
One of those additions could be running back Najee Harris, who Tyler Dragon of USA Today labels as the best fit for the former Pittsburgh Steeler.
"The Las Vegas Raiders played last year without a starting-caliber quarterback or running back," he wrote. "New Raiders head coach Pete Carroll likes to establish the run. Pop on the film from Carroll’s days in Seattle with Marshawn Lynch. Harris can run in a similar zone-run schemed offense."
Harris, who the Steelers took in the first round of the 2021 NFL Draft, has been very consistent since entering the league.
In each year, he's totaled at least 1,000 yards, bringing his total to 4,312 and 28 touchdowns in 1,097 rushing attempts. Harris was also named to the Pro Bowl in his rookie season.
If the Raiders had become interested in this move, they wouldn't have needed to break the bank either, as Spotrac places Harris' market value at $9.2 million annually.
