Las Vegas Raiders defensive end Maxx Crosby gives his own injury update after loss to Panthers

The Las Vegas Raiders got whooped on Sunday against the Carolina Panthers, after playing a great game against the Baltimore Ravens. Well, half of a great game.

This time, it was even worse than Week 1 against the Los Angeles Chargers, and now, they will be forced to play a Cleveland Browns team that isn't playing great but is much better than the Panthers.

They are in trouble, and it doesn't help that they are injured pretty badly. Of course, Malcolm Koonce is done for the year, Divine Deablo missed this game, and of course, the offensive line has its own injury issues they are dealing with as well.

Then, you add to that your very best player, Maxx Crosby who may be the best defensive player in the world, is also hurt. He was limited all week and was questionable heading into the game, even though we knew he would play.

On Sunday, against the Panthers, he didn't look the same at times, and you could tell he was pretty hurt. But, he kept going and even still made some plays.

On the injury report, he was said to have an ankle issue, but that's all it said. After the game, he told the media he had a high ankle sprain, one of the worst injuries to your ankle that you can have outside of breaking it, of course.

"It didn't get any worse, so I'll be good," Crosby said in the locker room. "Every time I go out there, I'm going to try to be out there with my teammates. So if I'm 100% or 50%, it doesn't affect if I'm going to go out there."

Crosby still played better than a lot of guys on the team. But, he wasn't himself. He's going to need this week to heal.
