Raiders DE Maxx Crosby gave one Bengals rookie another 'welcome to the league' moment

The Las Vegas Raiders lost another game, their seventh of the season and their fifth straight this season. They're a bad team, and we all know that -- maybe the worst team in the league as there are now nine teams in the league with just two wins and none with fewer.

But, we have to make sure the good moments are praised as much as they should be because there is too much bad out there right now if you're watching the Silver and Black every single week. The Raiders do have one of the best defensive ends in the league in Maxx Crosby, so let's start there.

Well, last week wasn't the best for Crosby, as he didn't get pressure on Kansas City Chiefs offensive tackle Jawaan Taylor. But this week was much different. He didn't get a sack this week, but he pretty much gave one Cincinnati Bengals player their rookie "welcome to the league" moment.

Let's just say Crosby dominated rookie offensive tackle Amarius Mims.

After being held without a pressure last week against the Chiefs, Maxx Crosby finished with 7 pressures on 41 pass rushes, including 5 across 31 matchups against right tackle Amarius Mims. Crosby lined up on the left side of the defensive formation on 40 of 41 pass rushes on the day, even with backup left tackle Cody Ford in for the injured Orlando Brown. - NGS NFL Pro

Mims will be a good player in this league and is already a guy that has shown some potential, so, let's not act like he is just very bad. This is Crosby we are talking about, and Mims is a rookie -- that's going to happen.

But, despite not getting a sack, Crosby had himself a day, and he just had to show why he is one of the best in the league. Despite missing a game this season, and being double-teamed way too often, Crosby is 26th in the league in total QB pressures at 25.

He's not quite having the DPOY season we all predicted, but it's hard to do so when you're on a team as bad as the Raiders. They will play the Miami Dolphins next after a bye week, where he will have a chance to feast.
