ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) - Special teamer KhaDarel Hodge is returning to the Atlanta Falcons on a 2-year, $6 million contract, according to NFL Network insider Ian Rapoport.
Hodge, 30, earned his first Pro Bowl nod as a special teamer in 2024, playing in 54% of Atlanta’s special teams snaps and 20% of the team’s offensive snaps as a wide receiver.
He added seven passes for 131 yards and six touchdowns to his punt-return touchdown against the New Orleans Saints in Week 4 and blocked punt against the Dallas Cowboys in Week 15, which earned him NFC Special Teams Player of the Week.
Hodge has been with the Falcons since 2022, playing in each of the team’s 17 games in all three seasons. He’s also had stints with the Los Angeles Rams, Cleveland Browns and the Detroit Lions.
