Jayson Tatum, Jrue Holiday, and Derrick White are all part of the national team as the Celtics trio looks to cap off their championship-winning year with an Olympic gold medal.

For his part, Durant will do everything he can to help the team in their quest for gold. KD, however, has other ideas about the Celtics winning another chip this coming season.

Phoenix Suns News: Kevin Durant Has No Advice for Jayson Tatum, Celtics

During Thursday’s Team USA press conference, Durant had nothing but good things to say about the Celtics trio. However, when asked if had given them any advice about how to move forward after their 2024 title, KD had a cold response.

“I wouldn’t give them any advice,” Durant said with a smile.

Stephen Curry, who suited up alongside Durant during their championship-winning years with the Golden State Warriors in 2017 and 2018, was sitting right beside KD during the interview. He was seen shaking his head in agreement with Durant’s statement.

Durant went on to say that he knows how hungry the Celtics are for another title. However, he’s sent out a gentle reminder about how difficult that’s going to be — especially with the competition Boston will face.

“They’re a great team so I’m sure they’re already thinking about what it’s like to repeat but that’s tough to do in our league,” he continued. “But we’ll see what happens.”
