Patriots Predicted to Poach Top Free Agent From Baltimore Ravens

The New England Patriots are expected to be very active in free agency this offseason, given they have over $100 million in cap space.

One glaring need is on the offensive line, more specifically at the tackle spots.

In a For The Win article making 25 predictions for the NFL offseason, after making a block bluster trade for Maxx Crosby, it has the Patriots also stealing OT Ronnie Stanley from the Baltimore Ravens.

New England fans are desperate for Drake Maye to get more help on the offensive line next season, and Stanley would help with that.

Another interesting thought with this signing is it doesn't necessarily rule out the Patriots drafting a tackle at pick four.

Stanley would be the clear starter at left tackle, and Will Campbell, someone who has been heavily mocked to New England as of late, could start at right tackle and eventually move to left tackle.

Another bonus of this signing would be stealing a top player from a conference rival.

As long as Lamar Jackson is around, the Ravens will be competing for the top spot in the AFC.

Stealing the 31-year-old left tackle from them and opening a hole at a premium position makes the money well worth it.

The Patriots have a lot of flexibility to make moves this offseason, and signing Stanley is among the best and most realistic moves they could make.
