With Paige DeSorbo’s booked-and-busy fall quickly approaching on Summer House, more foreboding signs emerged that her and Craig Conover's relationship might not survive another season.
In Summer House Season 9, Episode 6, an "annoyed" Paige recapped their recent dinner conversation — during which Craig expressed concerns about her prioritizing their relationship when her Giggly Squad podcast tour kicks off — for Amanda Batula.
"That pissed me off," the podcaster and social media influencer said. "I was like, 'What the f--k does that even mean?' I'm going on, like, a 35-city tour, I'm so nervous for it and anxious and now I have to feel like you're gonna feel like second best?"
Adding that she assured Craig he is a priority, "but work will come first for a lot of things," Paige also told Amanda how the Southern Charm cast member said he never thought he’d be in "such a submissive relationship."
Standing firm that she’ll "never apologize for that," Paige made a cryptic prediction: "I have this feeling that when I do my tour, I'm gonna hate Craig."

Why was Craig Conover upset with Paige DeSorbo?
More foundational cracks showed when Paige and Craig also revisited the relationship "health check" conversation during Carl Radke's pirate-themed party. Once again mentioning her touring the United States and Canada for several months, Craig reiterated that he didn't want to "feel forgotten about" while she was on the road.
"I just don't want you to ever resent me because I'm working," Paige replied, as they faced each other in an inflatable raft. "My career is way different than when we met. And I don't feel bad about that."
Craig's response? "That's a little unfair," he said. "That's not saying I'm not happy for your new life. I just wanna know how I fit into it."

After Paige noted she was just expressing her feelings, the Sewing Down South owner continued, "Yeah, but it makes me not want to bring stuff up to you sometimes because I'm like, 'She's gonna think this is an attack or that I'm not rooting for her.' It's really not. I'm just asking for clarity and making sure like, ya know, after three years, we're still good."
Craig jokingly suggested they have "status check-ins or a year-end review," prompting Paige to ominously reply, "I'll give you a yearly review. And I'll let you know if you're fired or not."
As we all now know, though, Paige and Craig's romance didn't last until the end of the year. In December 2024, she announced their breakup on the Giggly Squad podcast.
