After a long wait, Green Bay Packers star quarterback Jordan Love finally got his first win of the 2024 NFL season as a starter. On Sunday, Love helped the Packers come up with a 24-19 victory over Matthew Stafford and the Los Angeles Rams on the road.
Then on Monday, Love shared three photos on his official Instagram account with the following caption: “Victory Monday,” along with a cheese emoji.
At the time of this writing, Love’s post has garnered nearly 58,000 likes and got countless comments, including those from his Packers teammates.
“Victory Monday biscuits,” said Packers tight end Tucker Kraft, who had a big game himself against the Rams, recording 88 receiving yards and two touchdowns on four receptions and five targets.
“Same time next week?” asked offensive lineman Rasheed Walker.
“Buddy love 🫶🏽, ”commented defensive end Preston Smith.
Against the Rams, Love amassed 224 passing yards and two touchdowns with an interception while completing 15 of his 26 pass attempts. It was Love’s second start after returning from a knee injury that forced him to miss Week 2’s game versus the Indianapolis Colts and Week 3’s showdown versus the Tennessee Titans in which both had Malik Willis as the starter. In Week 4, Love was under center for the Packers, but they lost to the still-undefeated Minnesota Vikings at home.
Love will be going for quarterback win no. 2 as the Packers next take on the Arizona Cardinals at Lambeau Field in Week 6.
