NFL fans reacted to Kansas City Chiefs kicker Harrison Butker making an impact play on Thursday. During the Chiefs special teams meeting, defensive end BJ Thompson suffered a cardiac arrest. The team canceled all activities on Thursday following Thompson’s health emergency.

As previously discussed on GH, Butker rushed to het medical help for Thompson during the meeting:

According to Chiefs head trainer Rick Burkholder, Butker immediately ran to the training room to get the trainers after seeing that Thompson was suffering from a seizure. Safety Justin Reid also praised Butker in an article from The Spun.

“Harrison is that guy and he loves all of us,” Reid said, via Nate Taylor. “It’s much deeper than football. In a moment like that, you have to put yourself in action.”

Thompson was hospitalized after the event and was unconscious Thursday night. Per an update from his agent, Thompson is awake and responsive.
