Las Vegas Raiders star Maxx Crosby wasn't on the field for his team's "Monday Night Football" matchup against the Atlanta Falcons, but may have still found a way to sound off on the game's controversial ending.

The Raiders struggled in a 15-9 loss to the Falcons, falling to a league-worst 2-12. The Raiders wasted a strong defensive effort, managing just 249 total yards on offense while committing three turnovers.

The loss came two days after Crosby took to Instagram to announce that he would not return to the field this season after playing through a high ankle sprain for much of the season. Crosby announced that he would undergo season-ending surgery to address the injury.

"I will get this surgery & be on a war path for greatness everyday and be back the best version of myself," Crosby wrote." I truly believe In my soul that I'm changing the game one snap at a time and changing the way this position is viewed. If you don't believe me, if you have doubts, if you think I need to chill, GOOD… just WATCH ME."

While he may have missed Monday's game, Crosby managed to weigh in on the loss in a post to X. He shared a post that contained an ellipsis with no words, which some fans interpreted as a criticism of a late call that helped to seal the loss for the Raiders.

The Falcons had the ball with a little more than two minutes remaining in the fourth quarter, holding a six-point lead. Linebacker Robert Spillane pressured Falcons quarterback Kirk Cousins, batting down a pass and hitting the quarterback, but was flagged for roughing the passer.

The penalty gave the Falcons a first down, and Atlanta took close to a minute off the clock before punting to the Raiders. Las Vegas came up short on a Hail Mary pass as time expired.
