Madison LeCroy Gives Birth to Daughter Teddi (PHOTOS)

Southern Charm's Madison LeCroy and her husband, Brett Randle, have welcomed their first child together.

Congratulations are in order for Madison LeCroy, who is now a mom of two! The Southern Charm cast member announced on July 3 that she and her husband, Brett Randle, welcomed their daughter, Teddi, on June 29.

“I was in labor for 48 hours basically [because] my water broke at home,” Madison told Us Weekly, adding that Teddi was delivered via C-section at 34 weeks.

Madison, who first revealed the exciting news and photos below via Amazon Live, realized she was in labor early in the morning after celebrating her mom's birthday while Brett was out of town. “I ran upstairs, and I was like, ‘Mom, I don’t have anything packed,’" Madison shared with Us Weekly. "It was funny ’cause me and her both were like in my closet trying to pick out what we were gonna wear to the hospital."

Once at the hospital,  “We kind of prolonged the labor," Madison explained. "And Brett got here and then we waited another day and had the C-section and there she was five minutes later.”

After Teddi spent a “few days” in the NICU due to "protocol", Madison raved about how her little one is doing now.

“She’s only five pounds, but she’s breathing on her own and hasn’t needed any oxygen or anything like that. She’s kind of a little trooper,” she said. “[Doctors] were shocked with how early she was that she was gonna be this independent. So I was like, ‘Oh, I wasn’t shocked at all.’”

Why Madison LeCroy decided to name her daughter Teddi

After getting pregnant, Madison knew pretty quickly who she wanted to name her baby after — her late father, Ted "Teddy" LeCroy, who passed away in 2023. Madison took to Amazon Live in February, shortly after announcing her pregnancy, where she openly talked about choosing the name.

"You guys know I recently lost my dad, and I will be naming my baby after him," she said. "So, girl or boy, the name is going to work, and I'm super excited about that. I'm pumped."

How Madison LeCroy announced her pregnancy with baby no. 2

Madison had first announced her pregnancy on Feb. 6, while filming the Southern Charm Season 10 reunion. She took to Instagram that day where she made the big announcement to her Instagram followers. "And just like that...our world is changing in the most magical way!" she wrote in the caption of the post.

How Madison's husband Brett Randle feels about becoming a dad

Teddi is Brett's first child. In the lead-up to the baby's arrival, Brett had been hands-on in prepping for their daughter's birth. In fact, he even got ready for fatherhood by practicing wearing a baby carrier. “I’m excited for this," he shared at the time.

Madison also shared with BravoTV.com that she knows Brett is going to be a fantastic father. "I'm excited, and I know for a fact that Brett's going to be a great dad. And that's what makes me excited. Like this experience, based off of my first experience, just I have a whole new outlook on it."

How Madison LeCroy's son reacted to becoming a big brother

But it took Hudson a while to come around to the idea of being a big brother. In February, Madison told People that Hudson was initially "excited" about the news.

"Obviously, at first, he was like, 'Eh,'" she admitted. "And then we got a puppy, so he goes, 'Actually, I really love caring, so I might as well.' I was like, 'OK. This is going to be way different but OK.'"

Inside Madison LeCroy's move to her new house while expecting her baby

Madison was not afraid to make some major moves amidst her pregnancy with her daughter. The hairstylist revealed in March that she and Brett would be selling their home on Charleston-adjacent, Daniel Island, in search of a new and bigger space. Madison closed on her new house in early May, and started the move-in process later that month.

"Let's just say...it's exactly what we need," Madison told The Daily Dish via email in March. "More space, more charm, and plenty of room for our family to grow...It's got everything we've wanted and then some, so get ready because y'all know I'll be sharing every step of the way, so stay tuned! Don't worry, I'm not going far! Charleston is home, and it's where we want to raise our children. I wouldn't trade it for anything."
