Here at Soaps.com, we’ve been known to marvel from time to time at the resemblance between actors and their children. But rarely if ever have mother and daughter looked as much alike as The Bold and the Beautiful leading lady Jennifer Gareis and her little girl, Sophia, who turned 13 on June 29. No kidding, as we were scrolling through Instagram, we at first thought that the picture that the actress had shared was of her, not Sophia. (See why we did a double take below.)
“I can’t believe my little baby girl is a teenager today!” exclaimed Gareis. “Happy birthday to my sweet love, Sophia! I am so proud of you and the beautiful person that you have become!
“I am the luckiest mom on earth to have you as my daughter!“ she added. “I love you to the moon and back!”
Gareis wed Bobby Ghassemieh in 2010. (See more Bold & Beautiful stars and their real-life loves.) The couple also have a son, Gavin, who turned 15 on June 11. In 1994, Gareis represented New York in the Miss USA pageant. Three years later, she broke into showbiz when she was tapped to replace Charles in Charge star Josie Davis as Grace Turner on The Young and the Restless. You’ll recall that the troublemaking supervixen made it her mission to sleep with bestie Sharon Newman’s then-husband, Nick. (She accomplished her mission, too.)
