Las Vegas Raiders Jump In Week 18 Power Rankings After Dominant Win

The Las Vegas Raiders have had a disappointing season in 2024, currently sitting at a 4-12 record. However, they have won their last two games against the New Orleans Saints and the Jacksonville Jaguars, making it the first time all season they have won back-to-back games. Because of this, the team has jumped in the power rankings.

According to Bleacher Report, Las Vegas is ranked 27 in the overall league power rankings after being ranked 28 last week. While this is good for team morale, winning these games late in the year has also likely prevented the Raiders from being able to draft a quarterback in the first round.

Despite the recent controversy from fans complaining about losing out on a good draft pick in 2025, rookie tight end Brock Bowers broke an NFL record this past weekend that stood for over six decades.

Bowers now stands alone after breaking Mike Ditka's record for the most yards by a rookie tight end in NFL history, and also now has the NFL record for the most receptions by any first-year player ever.

While the future is bright for their rookie tight end, the Raiders still have some serious work to do this offseason in all realms of the franchise.
